This free one-day Compressor Training focuses on making optimal choices within the Axis camera interface and in AXIS Camera Station Pro to reduce your bandwidth and storage use. This training will cover:
- Frame counts, sizes, and compression
- The benefits of the AV1 codec
- Axis Zipstream options
- Noise reduction
- And some other choices which could make a tremendous difference to your network statistics
Some of these choices will likely spawn big "Aha" moments!
Included in the class are some best practices, "tips and tricks" from the engineers, technical trainers, and subject matter experts. We will cover various scenarios where bandwidth usage might be reduced and therefore resulting in a reduction in storage needs.
Plus, we'll have a new products showcase in our newly expanded Detroit Axis Experience Center with some of the latest tech in the business from Axis.

- After parking, take the elevators to Level 1, then enter the main lobby directly across from the garage
