SEATTLE CREATES x New Tech Northwest Monthly Social - May 2026
Where arts, tech + creativity intersect. Meet new friends, creatives, and discover inspiring stories monthly. Snacks + drinks on us.
SEATTLE CREATES x New Tech Northwest Monthly Social
Join SEATTLE CREATES at New Tech Northwest’s monthly meetup—a casual hang where creative + tech folks come together to see what’s actually happening around the city.
If you’re into art, design, dev, startups—or just curious—you’ll be in good company. It’s an easy space to meet people, learn something new, and tap into the creative energy shaping Seattle right now.
You’ll find us during the opening networking hour, hosting interactive S.T.E.A.M. moments that make the connection between art + tech feel real. Think digital art, AR/VR, fashion, projection, sound—different entry points into the same creative process.
This month, we'll be featuring The Plotter by Jonny McConnell. Come create your own algorithmic glyph print by twisting knobs on a robotic plotter.
Jonny McConnell is a creative with one foot in design, one in photography, one in building internet, and one in the classroom. He balances his time between freelance clients, maintaining the Seattle Creative Directory, and developing his machine-aided printmaking at The Plot Quickens from his studio on Whidbey Island.
🗓️ Date: Tuesday, May 12, 5:30pm
🎟️ Tickets: Tickets normally run $20 (or $27 day-of) — but because of our special partnership with New Tech Northwest, we're bringing limited discounted tickets to our community. Grab yours here before they're gone.
- $10 tickets through SEATTLE CREATES's Eventbrite
- FREE tickets for students (register by purchasing a free ticket)
Enjoy hosted light bites, refreshing beverages, a cash bar, and connections with new friends and peers.
🗣️Presenters: Founders, leaders, creatives + innovators share their passion and new tech through 8-minute presentations and 3 minutes of Q+A. Line-up to be announced soon. Follow us on eventbrite, instagram, or join our newsletter to be updated.
✨The Vibe
