Swing Theory Is an Athens based jazz collective that strives to bridge the gap between UGA students and the professional music scene in Athens. The personnel of current students and alumni perform frequently in and around Athens. They also host frequent open jam sessions to encourage engagement and educate new players. As alumni move on from the city, the leadership is passed down to those staying in Athens.
