Join artist Cécile Ganne for a painting session where you'll unleash your creativity and learn new techniques!

French Library / Alliance Française of Boston & Cambridge

During this workshop, students will experience the exhilarating creative process of studying the lines of the land. You will learn how to decipher the landscape through its linear language, and transfer this idea onto paper. From there, students will learn to rotate their work, reacting to the new lines created and carving out small abstract paintings. The class will also focus on creating lush abstractions, layering colors, and playing with different mediums. This class is open to all levels and students are encouraged to bring any drawing supplies they have at home. Paper, brushes and acrylic paint provided. A glass of wine is included in the price. The class will be held in both French and English so everyone can participate — no French required.
