Sweat Records is proud to present an evening with BOYFRIEND! Her last album "In The Garden" was a store favorite and she's bringing her live show to the Sweat stage.

Boyfriend is a multidisciplinary performer, writer, and producer celebrated for sharp lyricism, bold theatricality, and socially charged storytelling. Since emerging in 2012, she has carved out a singular lane as both a solo artist and sought-after collaborator, contributing songwriting and production to Charli XCX, Troye Sivan, Rebecca Black, Slayyyter, and Mala Rodríguez, while appearing on recordings with Lil Wayne, Jake Shears, Billy Porter, Pussy Riot, and Big Freedia.

Her music has been featured across HBO, Netflix, Hulu, and Starz, and soundtracked global campaigns for Amazon, Apple, Marc Jacobs, and Red Bull. Renowned for her live performances, Rolling Stone named her a Top 5 act at Outside Lands, while Consequence praised her standout appearance in Bonnaroo’s "SuperJam". She is also featured in the Grammy-winning documentary Jazz Fest: A New Orleans Story.

Beyond music, Boyfriend’s theatrical work includes premieres on Playbill, a performance alongside Tony Award winner Laura Osnes, and her long-running original stage show Hag. Her latest release is the musical concept album In the Garden (2025).
