Frankenhooker: A New Wave Musical [Seattle Debut]
Enjoy this electrifying reimagining of that classic story of Sluts and Bolts, this time with a hot new wave soundtrack and camptastic charm!
A reimagining of the 1990 cult classic Frankenhooker is coming to the stage in the form of a musical parody! The project is written and directed by Ethereal Rosenblum and Keos Rosenblum, and produced through their company Ethereal Chaos Productions.
FRANKENHOOKER: A NEW WAVE MUSICAL puts a fresh twist on the story and features all original new wave musical numbers written by the Rosenblums and composer Anthony Dluzak, who has composed for film projects such as Inverted (2024), along with award-winning composer Analia Lentini. The show debuts June 18 at the Blue Mouse Theatre in Tacoma and June 26 at Theatre Puget Sound in Seattle.
Follow Jefferey Franken, a grieving amateur scientist, as he reanimates his beloved fiancée, piece by piece. His spiral into madness includes a journey "Across the River" to find the most perfect parts, and in doing so, sets off a series of weird science reactions, leaving you asking,
"Who's the real Franken, and who's the real Hooker?"
