*THE COST ($200) IS THE TOTAL FOR ALL 6 CLASSES. THE APRIL 21 CLASS PURCHASE GETS YOU ALL 6 CLASSES, APRIL 21 - MAY 26.*Ever thought about trying improv—but felt a little hesitant?This 6-week class in downtown Portland is designed to be fun, low-pressure, and beginner-friendly. No experience needed.Yet, students will also be exposed to authentic, dynamic and vital concepts of improvisation, and find themselves creating captivating, emotionally connected and funny scenes in class.Tuesdays, 7-9 PM (April 21 – May 26) Portland, ME $220 total for all 6 classesYou’ll learn through simple games and short exercises that build:<ul><li>confidence</li><li>spontaneity</li><li>communication</li><li>and a sense of play</li></ul>At the end, there’s an optional, relaxed showcase where you can invite friends and family or just enjoy the experience.Improvisation leads to increased social skills, personal confidence &amp; happiness.Your instructor, Adam Groppman, has performed and trained in LA’s comedy scene (Second City, UCB, etc.) and has been running popular improv classes in Portland since 2022.His focus is creating a supportive, encouraging environment where people can explore, have fun &amp; laugh together.
