Kemper Museum Block Party 2026
Join us for the Museum's annual Block Party to highlight one of the most creative blocks in Kansas City - part of Arterie Fest!
Inspired by The World in Kansas City, the Block Party celebrates the city’s global spirit with an afternoon of music, artmaking activities, food trucks, and community spotlights.
One day. Three locations. Endless ways to explore The Arterie!
This year, the Block Party is part of Arterie Fest, a new festival bringing together events across the Kansas City Art Institute, the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, and Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art, all connected by The Arterie, a pathway connecting the three cultural locations.
Arterie Fest includes the Kemper Museum Block Party, KCAI’s End of Semester Exhibition + Sale, and special activations at the Nelson-Atkins, making it easy and extra fun to explore all three in one day!
