Synopsis:
Amreen had been a homemaker for 18 years until a freak accident during Holi(an Indian festival of colours) left her husband, Imtiaz crippled for life. Challenged with the responsibility to run the house and educate three kids, Amreen has to work. Her neighbour, Sarita, who cooks in various households, needs a replacement while she is away for two months, so Amreen jumps at the opportunity despite her husband's unwillingness to let her step out of the house. But her Muslim identity and the fact she wears a veil is a major deterrent for her to be hired because most household are Hindu. However, one household (Parul and Vinod) is open- minded and prioritizes hygienic food over religious considerations. The catch, though, was that they followed a strict vegan diet. Clueless about the culinary habits of the rich, Amreen has a tough time. The film thereafter follows her struggles to balance her life at work and home.
