Rooftop Puppet Show and Family Gathering with Spellbound Theatre
A free puppet show and activities to celebrate World Autism Month! Bring your imagination to our family event for all ages and abilities.
To Celebrate World Autism Month,
Our April Family Gathering is FREE for Everyone!
This event centers neurodiverse families, but everyone is welcome.
Join us for a fun and relaxed afternoon where families will enjoy an interactive puppet show and create together! Come hang out, make something special, and close out the weekend with community, creativity, and fun!
☕️ We’ll be joined by our friends from Center for All Abilities, and their Blue Hat Café team. They’ll be offering delicious (and free) café drinks for caregivers and children, including lemonade and coffee.
Join Extreme Kids & Crew and Spellbound Theatre to explore puppetry for the whole family.
👷🏽 No experience needed
🌈 All abilities welcome
What to Expect On Sunday, April 26:
- 4–5 PM, explore the museum with your family.
- 5–6 PM (after the museum closes), gather on the rooftop to have fun with puppets!
In this interactive and inclusive workshop, you'll meet Domino the Penguin:
"Sometimes Domino chooses to be naughty, but sometimes it happens without her realizing. There are so many rules! Domino wants to know how she can still have fun without getting into so much trouble. Will you help? Join Domino as she navigates a tricky world filled with opportunities to be naughty...or not."
Spanish and Mandarin interpretation available.
Space is limited to keep the workshop small and supportive — reserve your spot today.
This event is FREE, but you must REGISTER in advance.
