Get crafty and learn how to Crochet a Medium Sized Plush Crochet Sea Turtle class with Amanda, of Creative Retreat.

PLEASE NOTE: Ages 16+. By purchasing tickets, you acknowledge that each attendee is at least 16 years of age.

*Please note: prior crochet experience is required. This is not a beginner class. The pattern is intermediate to advanced and will require some instructor guidance to complete. Participants should be able to confidently complete a single crochet stitch independently and be comfortable counting stitches with support from the instructor.

Classes are kept to a minimum of 6 people so you truly learn and finish your projects.

All materials included: Each student will complete one plush Sea Turtle measuring approximately 12” in length by 8” in width while laying flat. Students will receive the patten, yarn, eyes, stitch markers, poly-fill and 2 crochet hooks. Note: students have the option of crocheting eyes and not using plastic eyes.

About the Instructor:

Amanda was born, raised, and currently resides in Northport. She has a BSN in Apparel & Textiles from Oneonta State University, as well as an associate's degree in Fashion Merchandising from the Fashion Institute of Technology. On top of her creative studies, she received a BSN in Nursing at Adelphi University and currently works as a registered nurse. Amanda is still very passionate about art, and she also teaches Mandala Art Dot Classes, as well as Crochet, Crushed Glass Resin Pour and other workshops at the Nest.
