Bring the beauty of water into your outdoor space with a compact, deck-sized water garden. In this workshop, Charlie Holland from Chester Hollow Water Gardens will demonstrate the steps and tips for creating a self-contained water garden perfect for a deck, patio, or small garden space. Using a specially designed system, you’ll learn how to combine water, plants, and simple mechanics to create a balanced and visually striking feature. Whether you’re new to water gardening or looking to expand your skills, this workshop will leave you feeling confident to create your own miniature oasis.

ABOUT CHESTER HOLLOW

The team at Chester Hollow brings over 25 years of combined experience in water garden design, installation, and care. With roots in traditional gardening and a long-standing passion for aquatic landscapes, they specialize in creating and maintaining water features of all sizes, everything from small container water gardens to full backyard ponds. With a focus on thoughtful design, problem-solving, and an emphasis on education, they ensure that gardeners build the skills and confidence to create thriving water gardens.


Tickets

Tickets are are $10 for members (with member discount code) and $20 for non-members which includes a full day pass to the gardens. PLEASE NOTE: This is an informational workshop and does not include a water garden to take home. Purchase options will be available through Chester Hollow.

Cancellations: If you are unable to attend, please let us know 48 hours in advance of the class start time in order to receive a refund. Note that Eventbrite fees are non-refundable.

Weather Related Cancellations: We will assess the weather the morning of the workshop and send a notification to all attendees if extreme or severe weather is forecast.
