The Brewery Running Series® was founded in Minneapolis, MN in 2012. We started with one event - a 5k at a local brewery in celebration of Global Running Day. We are the Minnesota Brewery Running Series® — and we run for beer.Birch’s on the Lake 5K/10K Fun Run Sunday, October 11 @ 10:00 AMJoin us at Birch's on the Lake Brewhouse &amp; Supperclub for a feel-good day of movement, community, and seriously good beer — all set on one of the best waterfront locations in the state.This is the kind of venue that makes you want to stay awhile. Birch’s combines a craft brewery, coffeehouse, and full-service restaurant into one lakeside experience, complete with a spacious patio and views of Long Lake. Their beer lineup covers everything from clean, classic styles to creative seasonals, and the full food menu makes this an easy post-run hang.Bonus: there’s a good chance you’ll be sharing miles (or at least a post-run beer) with the owner / head brewmaster and fellow beer runner, Brennan — not a bad way to earn your pint.<h3>Event Details</h3>When: Sunday, October 11 Start Time: 10:00 AM (check-in opens 30 min prior) Where: Birch’s on the Lake | Long Lake, MNDistances:<ul><li>5K-ish</li><li>10K-ish</li></ul>Both routes are out-and-back from the brewery, along the Luce Line Trail.
