Join us to cultivate mind, body and breath and to celebrate world qigong day.

We will be running free qigong sessions at St Anns Wells Gardens (10am) as we join millions of people across 80 nations in a global wave of energy and wellness.

Why Qigong?

Qigong is an exercise orginating in China that blends movement, mindfulness and deep slow breathing that proven to improve wellbeing. Science shows that regular practice can:

  • Lower Blood Pressure & Stress: Slow, intentional breathing calms your "fight-or-flight" response.
  • Boost Immunity: Gentle movement improves circulation and strengthens your body’s natural defences.
  • Soothe Chronic Pain: Ideal for office workers and those with back, neck, or joint stiffness.
  • Improve Mental Clarity: Sharpen your focus and find emotional balance through "meditation in motion".

What to bring: Comfortable clothes, water, a sense of curiosity. No experience—or yoga mat—needed!

Cost: Completely FREE (although donatiosn welcome to fund our community classes)

Open to: all ages and abilities.
