WORKSHOP INFOIn this session, you will learn where and how you can find funding for your art, including the essentials of searching for grants and applying for them. Starting with an abundance-centered mindset, we'll discuss funding from traditional sources (foundations, state agencies and national organizations), as well as consider ways of creating and accessing resources already present in our community. This workshop will guide you in identifying opportunities that match your artistic goals, and in developing strong applications that clearly communicate their purpose, budget, outcomes, and evaluation plan.*Snacks will be provided by SWELL in addition to a happy hour beverageDriving Lessons is an ongoing professional development program for artists, which was developed by Wave Pool in collaboration with artists, arts field professionals and educators. Since 2020, Driving Lessons has taken myriad forms: from an online full curriculum class taught over the course of several weeks, to a topic-centric, one-off presentation by experts in their fields.
