This Art Meetup is an open mic and creative gathering built for artists, musicians, writers, photographers, performers, designers, and anyone craving real connection without the pressure of traditional networking culture.
Expect live music, poetry, performances, drinks, conversation, laughter, and a room full of people who are actually open to meeting each other.
A lot of people come alone.
Most leave knowing somebody.
Last time the room stayed full for hours. People exchanged Instagrams, made plans to collaborate, talked long after performances ended, and met new friends they plan to see again this summer.
No pressure to perform.
No pressure to already know people.
No pressure to show up perfectly.
Some people grab the mic.
Some people just listen.
Some people sketch, write, crochet, flirt, dance, sip a drink, and slowly open up throughout the night.
This is not a giant corporate event or awkward networking mixer.

Doors Open + Get Settled
Early arrival, check in, settle into the space at Nook. Grab a drink and a bite to support the bar. Open mic sign up starts at 5:45 PM. Expect music, casual introductions, people getting comfortable.
Welcome + Open Mic
First set of performers. Music, poetry, spoken word, comedians. Short 4 minute sets to keep the energy moving and give more people a chance.
Networking Break
Pause for people to talk, meet, and move around. A natural moment to introduce yourself to someone new.
