I lost my mom to cancer in 2018 and my dad to Alzheimer's in 2020. Grief is hard at any age. So imagine navigating that loss as a child. That's why I'm bringing together people I love to help build something meaningful.
Empower is a national organization that supports children and young adults up through age 24 who have experienced the death of a parent… through mentorship, community, and events that make sure no child feels forgotten or incredibly lost on some of the hardest days of the year. All programs are offered at no cost to families. Right now, South Florida doesn't have an active chapter. Together, we can change that.
Join me for an evening of celebration (my birthday!), inspiring speakers, and community as we take the first step toward bringing Empower to Boca Raton and South Florida. My vision: Mother's Day and Father's Day events for local children next year, and a full mentorship program the year after. It starts here!
