Through artistic and scientific perspectives, it traces how plant based knowledge has been transmitted, interrupted and transformed over time. The project opens up the question of who defines plants and how knowledge is formed, inviting visitors to explore new relationships between humans and the more than human world through installations, performances and workshops. Mai 2026 / 18:00 Uhr Sprache: Deutsch / Englisch Alter Botanischer Garten, Pelikanstrasse 40, 8001 Zürich"Botanische Erinnerungen: Über Heilung und Care" ist ein Forschungs- und Ausstellungsprojekt, das sich mit einheimischen Heilpflanzen als Trägerinnen von Heilwissen, Fürsorge und Erinnerung auseinandersetzt. Aus künstlerischer und wissenschaftlicher Perspektive verfolgt es, wie pflanzenbasiertes Wissen im Laufe der Zeit weitergegeben, unterbrochen und transformiert wurde. Das Projekt wirft die Frage auf, wer Pflanzen definiert und wie Wissen entsteht, und lädt Besucherinnen und Besucher ein, durch Installationen, Performances und Workshops neue Beziehungen zwischen Mensch und Natur zu entdecken. In Zusammenarbeit mit dem Botanischen Garten der Universität Zürich.
