Have you ever thought about growing your own food? Join this hands-on seed starting workshop!

Hyde Park Neighborhood Club

CAPACITY 20 ADULTS (children don’t need to register, they’ll just share materials with the parent)Join Strong Towns Chicago on Saturday, April 18th at Hyde Park Neighborhood Club for a hands-on seed starting workshop, where you’ll take home the seeds, soil, and knowledge you need to start your own home garden! We’ll dive into the vital role urban farming plays across Chicago for housing affordability, racial equity, and climate adaption — all while tasting delicious food made with the very herbs and roots you’ll be planting! This event is free to attend and vegan, allergen free food will be provided. Families with children of all ages welcome! Spots are limited, so please register to save your place. If your plans change, let us know so we can open your spot to a neighbor.
