38” paiste gongs, binaural beat crystal singing bowls, Tibetan bowls, Native American flute, didgeridoo, Celtic harp, monolina, vibraphone, ethereal vocals, and so much more—

During the event, participants lie down and are bathed head to toe in sound— it's a very hypnotic, ethereal experience.

You will come away with a clear mind, and a deeper appreciation for the wonder of sound. We strongly recommend this event for people who have trouble meditating, or feel like they just "can't get there." Give this a try .

You can wear anything that's comfortable. Bring a bottle of water because that's always a good idea.

We recommend bringing: a yoga mat, (optional) a pillow, (optional) a blanket or two.

Our events do get full, and we do encourage people to get close to one another. That being said, you're always free to claim more personal space

Led by Guy Douglas {crystal singing bowls, gong, Native American Flute, calimba and more}

Guy is the co-founder of Sound Meditation Presents, and a gongmaster for over a decade. He has been involved with the healing power of music his whole life from many different perspectives: writing, recording, producing and performing. He has studied sound healing techniques & the eastern philosophy of music, which helps clear dormant pathways to open the heart.

Tom Lange {didgeridoo & Native American Flute}

Tom Lange is a Portland-based sound healing practitioner and composer who has worked with the didgeridoo for nearly 30 years. Using sound as a tool for rest, release, and grounding, he combines the didgeridoo with gongs and other acoustic instruments to create deeply calming experiences both in private sessions and live performances.

Matthew Tutsky {harp}
Matthew is the Principal Harpist with the Oregon Symphony, Portland Opera, and Oregon Ballet Theatre, and has previously held similar roles with other major philharmonics.

Jessa Campbell {vocals}

Jessa Campbell is an Oregon-based performer, certified sound healer, and recording artist whose ethereal, resonant vocal work bridges performance, healing, and education, shaped by studies with Silvia Nakkach and Paola Suculima and collaborations ranging from Wayne Newton to Bhakti Fest.

And Simona Asinovski {chimes, gong & vibraphone}

Co-founder of Sound Meditation Presents, Simona learned about sound healing from Guy six years ago. She studies music & movement, and speaks about the practice of sound meditation. She's dedicated to sharing this practice with as many as possible.
