An immigrant actress builds and walks the road to her dreams one brick and one step at a time. A physical show about the absolute resolve and the lengths artists go to in order to make art. A hilarious yet deeply moving exploration of unfiltered passion, resilience, discipline, tenacity and the struggle to succeed against all odds.

A botched surgery, a locked door, a Cranberries concert, and a third-grade superhero collide in this darkly funny solo show. A raw, comedic meditation on resilience and the absurd ways we fight to stay free when no one is coming to save us.  One woman’s sardonic, unflinching journey to escape the room she’s stuck in, the choices that put her there, and the fear she may never get out.

Stand-up comic Betsy Cox drags the audience through her Louisiana upbringing, bringing her family to life through punchline-packed character work and raw storytelling. From poverty to the humiliation of undiagnosed ADHD, she spins tragedy into comedy that’s brutally honest, wildly funny, and unexpectedly empowering — an inspiring and fearless solo show.

This long night’s journey into day may even make you question your own upstairs committee as we travel deeper and deeper into the war zone with the never-mastered mind. A darkly comedic excavation of grief, identity, and the uncomfortable absurdity of being alive when you’re not entirely sure you want to be. Deeply personal experiences turned into something both hilarious and unsettlingly familiar.

A first-generation American grappling with the feeling of being "othered" throughout her life is forced to confront and embrace her true identity after a life-altering diagnosis, leading her on a journey of self-acceptance, resilience, and empowerment in this heartfelt and humorous solo show.
