Overview

NONA's SUPPER CLUB - ORIGINAL MUSICAL THEATER @ Chelsea Table + Stage NYC!

Two Sunday Evenings - May 3 BRUNCH & June 7 DINNER, Nona's Supper Club will take up residence at Chelsea Table + Stage. As guests dine, the hilarious and poignant story and songs unfolds around them, in the aisles and at their tables, making them feel like they’re part of the family, and central to the story. With an electrifying original score—from infectious pop anthems to show-stopping ballads—and the sumptuous cuisine menu of Chelsea Table + Stage, this interactive musical celebrates love, resilience, and the power of food to bring people together.

The Story:

Tonight is the high-stakes reopening night of the Nona Abalafia's legacy restaurant, Nona's Supper Club. When Nona, the matriarch, announces her retirement, her descendants scramble to save her once-legendary NYC establishment. With chef Paul missing, a fast-talking hostess from Staten Island suddenly appearing, and a bartender caught up in romantic chaos, will this family pull it together—or fall apart trying?

Twyla, Nona’s determined twenty-something grandchild, is fighting to save the crumbling family business, while Cesar, Nona’s deeply flawed son, grapples with a criminal past that has finally caught up with. Miranda, Nona’s eldest grandchild and unapologetic drama queen, fuels the emotional fire, putting everyone on edge. And Theo, Twyla’s childhood crush, arrives just at the wrong (or maybe right?) time.

As secrets surface and tensions rise, the celebration threatens to unravel, forcing the Abalafia family to confront what it really means to honor their legacy.

Will food (and love) conquer all? Come find out at Chelsea Table + Stage.

The premiere cast is led by Adam Tomei (The Truman Show), Emily Nadler (Line), and Trudy Poux, (Do Nothings) alongside Tucker Poux (Do Nothings), and Darian Bencosme, Danielle Palumbo, Ryan Folger, and Liliana Valencia, with Russell McCook (Bad People) as Music Director.

Written by the award-winning mother-child duo Amy Poux (book, music, lyrics & director) and Trudy Poux (music, lyrics), Nona’s Supper Club is inspired by the life of Amy’s grandmother. With additional members of the Poux family contributing across every facet of the production, the show embodies the spirit of true multigenerational collaboration.

For two Sundays, the cast of Nona’s Supper Club brings the interactive production to

Chelsea Table + Stage (152 West 26th Street) on May 3 @ 1 PM BRUNCH, and June 7 at 6:30 PM DINNER. Tickets start at $30 plus a $25 food and beverage minimum. Complimentary tickets for press and producers are available.
