Grow your gardening know-how with our Washington County Master Gardener workshop series. Learn how to garden smarter, help the environment, and save time and money. Workshops will be held from 9 to 11:00 a.m. and will combine classroom teaching with hands-on learning in our demonstration garden.

Each workshop is $10 and will be limited to 20 participants. Pre-registration is required either in-person or online with a credit card.

Class Description:
Why buy soil amendments when you can make your own from garden and kitchen scraps? Learn what to use and how to put it all together to make the best compost ever. Compost pros share their tips & tricks.

  • May 2 - Veggie Gardening: Planning for higher yields
  • June 6 - Smart Summer Watering
  • September 19 -Veggie Gardening: Extending the Season & Winterizing the Garden
