Celebrate Pride by packing care kits for LGBTQ+ youth supported by Kaleidoscope Youth Center.

Who this Anywhere Project is for:Ages 6-12. Not sure if this project is the right fit for your kids? Email us with questions at programs@seedsofcaring.org.What you'll be doing:Celebrate Pride with Seeds of Caring! Children will explore the meaning of Pride and build empathy for the LGBTQ+ community through a video and age-appropriate discussion. Then helping hands will pack care kits and decorate encouragement cards for individuals being supported by <a href="https://www.kycohio.org/" title="https://www.kycohio.org/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Kaleidoscope Youth Center</a>.When you'll be doing it:This Anywhere Project can be done at home, school, or wherever you are!This project is on-going. Families and groups may participate until the project ends on May 3rd. Donations may be porch-dropped to a Seeds of Caring volunteer in Bexley, Lewis Center, Grove City, or Dublin from 9am - 7pm on May 1-3 . Addresses will be provided in your service packet.How it all works:Once you have completed registration, you will receive a confirmation email from Eventbrite with a link to your service packet. This packet includes project instructions, guided discussions and more. In every Seeds of Caring service packet, you'll find quick, easy-to-use guides to support you in leading meaning-making conversations! This project's guided discussion focuses on LGBTQ+ youth and inclusive communities.Approximate Cost:Approximately $10 per kit including 3+ travel-sized hygiene products (full packing list included in service packet). For the encouragement card use craft supplies on hand or the printable template.Why you'll be invited to donate:Every time we're able to design, coordinate, and offer an opportunity for kids to give back, it's with the help of supporters like you.
