What should I bring?

Accepted Answer

Bring a packed lunch and drinking water. Archaeological equipment and digging tools are provided.

Question 2

Can I bring my child? Do they need a ticket?

Accepted Answer

Yes, children are permitted with adult supervision and their own ticket . Keep in mind that this is a real archaeological dig site containing fragile artifacts, and may not be suited for very young children. However, this is an incredible learning opportunity for children of school-age and older!

Question 3

What do I wear?

Accepted Answer

This event is outdoors, and very hands-on. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes that can allow you to dig and get dirty. Depending on weather,  sun or insect protection in encouraged.

Question 4

It says this takes place on private property, how do I get to the site?

Accepted Answer

Once you complete registration, you will be provided with the site address on or shortly before the morning of the dig. Please ensure all your contact information is accurate at registration.
