<h3>Course Description</h3>Digital dentistry is changing the way the dental team interacts with one another and plans treatment. The incorporation of digital technology into restorative solutions can help deliver natural-looking, esthetic results for patients. Connectivity between current intra-oral scanners allows the restorative doctor to take a digital impression, make any occlusal modifications chairside, print a temporary, and send the file to the laboratory to design the final restoration.This program will review recent advances in digital technology; the increasing importance of the partnership between the dentist and the lab; the differences between various materials used; surgical planning software for implant placement and restoration; 3D printer options; and the many benefits available to the treatment team when using digital dentistry solutions.2 CE Credits | 7:30–10:00 AM CDT <h3>Learning Objectives</h3><ul><li>Recognize how to incorporate recent technological advances as part of the treatment plan.</li><li>Understand how digital impressions can help create an accurate final restoration.</li><li>Understand the materials and processes available for digital restorations.</li><li>Identify cases where guided surgery planning would be helpful for implant placement.</li><li>Discuss the scientific evidence for the applications of digital technology.</li></ul>Meet representatives from Westbrook and other dentists in the Dallas area. Speaker:

Dr. Robert Vogel graduated from the Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery in New York City, New York. Upon graduation, he completed a combined residency program in Miami, Florida, at Jackson Memorial Hospital, Mount Sinai Medical Center, and Miami Children's Hospital. He maintains a full-time private practice in implant prosthetics and reconstructive dentistry, located in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. He works closely as a team member with several specialists providing implant-based comprehensive treatment, conducting clinical trials, and providing clinical advice to the dental attachment and implant fields. Dr. Vogel has developed and collaborated on several prosthetic components and techniques currently in use in implant dentistry. He lectures internationally on implant dentistry, focusing on simplification, confidence, and predictability of implant prosthetics through ideal treatment planning and team interaction. Dr. Vogel continues to publish scientific articles on implant dentistry and is a Fellow of the International Team for Implantology (ITI).
