Join us to learn useful research skills in a gamified RPG format that is sure to be tons of fun!

Join us to learn the basics of research in a unique, gamified environment! This workshop applies game thinking to the research process, turning the development of search strategies and keywords into a series of interactive challenges, designed like your favorite RPG.

Whether you are an 'Explorer' looking to discover new resources or an 'Achiever' aiming to master the library system , you’ll earn points and badges as you level up your information literacy skills. Come test out this new approach to making complex research topics engaging, effective, and tons of fun!

All UCR community members are welcome to attend. Make sure to register with your UCR email. Zoom link will be emailed to registered participants one hour before the workshop starts. Participants are expected to follow and uphold UC Riverside's Principles of Community.
