La Bruja Tango is a member event of the Berkeley City Club.  Members and non-members are welcome.

This class focuses on more complex figures, while Diego and Alejandra give feedback on technique.

Argentine tango teachers Diego Lanau and Alejandra Saravia are back in the Bay Area and are teaching at the Berkeley City Club for three dates only! Diego and Alejandra's classes are challenging and fun, emphasizing dance technique and communication between partners.The intermediate class is geared towards people who have been dancing for at least three months (12 tango classes). Diego and Alejandra also teach a beginner class at 7:00 pm on the same dates.No partner necessary; the teachers encourge people to switch partners throughout the class.These classes are taught using the terms “leaders” and “followers,” and are inclusive to queer, trans, and non-binary people.Wednesdays, April 29th, May 6th, and May 13th 8:00-8:30 pm practica 8:30-9:30 pm intermediate tango 9:30-10:00 pm practicaThe practicas are included with the classes. Stay, dance, and ask questions!Berkeley City Club 2315 Durant Ave. Berkeley, CA 94704Drinks are for sale at Morgan’s Bar and Lounge, across the hall from the ballroom. All ages are welcome in the dance classes. We are a 10-minute walk from Downtown Berkeley BART. For bike parking, use the bell to enter through the service entrance, and go straight to get to the back courtyard. No parking in the City Club lot.
