Farm to Table: Vegetable Cooking Techniques at the Farmers Market
Chef Dallas takes you on a trip to the farmers market, followed by a veggie-forward cooking class!
Join Chef Dallas at the Farmers Market to shop for a selection of prime vegetables, while learning about different cooking techniques and preparations for what you see. Afterward, proceed to August Escoffier School of Culinary Arts , and transform your fresh ingredients into delectable dishes. This will be a vegetable-focused cooking class!
10:00 am: Meet at the South end (near Arapahoe) of Boulders Farmers Market located at, 13th St, Boulder, CO 80302 Chef Dallas will have a Chef shirt with an Escoffier nameplate.
1 0:45 am: Head to Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts located at, 637 S Broadway Suite H, Boulder, CO 80305
1 1:00 am- 2:00 pm: Home Cooking Class

- The Menu for the day will be determined by Chef Dallas and will depend on what is available and inspirational at the Farmers Market.

Where will the event be delivered?
Boulder Farmers Market and our Escoffier kitchens near Hennepin Barbers and Moe's bagels. Our location near the laundromat is our lecture hall and admissions office.

What is the cancellation policy?
Event registrations can be refunded through Eventbrite up to 7 days prior to the event date. Event registrations are non-refundable less than 7 days prior to the event. Missed events may not be made up.
The school reserves the right to cancel any event not meeting sign up standards and to change recipes based on product availability.
*It is extremely rare for an event to be canceled due to weather.
Is there an age requirement?
Participants under the age of 18 may attend our events when they register and attend the event with a parent or guardian.
Is there a dress code?
This is a hands-on cooking event. Please wear comfortable clothes and closed-toed shoes. For safety reasons, please do not wear shorts, skirts or sandals. If you have long hair, please pull it back during the event.
