Join us as we commemorate John Paul II’s travels to the African continent!
The Saint John Paul II National Shrine invites all pilgrims to a day of celebration of African witness to the faith! This year we will celebrate Saint John Paul II’s visits to East Africa.
The program will include the prayer of the Rosary, Holy Mass, a panel on John Paul II's visits to East Africa, and a keynote address.
Lunch, music, a display on John Paul II’s visits to the African continent, and more!
Schedule:
11:15 am: Holy Rosary
12:00 pm: Holy Mass
1:30 pm: Lunch - Exhibit “John Paul II in Africa”
2:00 pm: Panel: “St. John Paul II’s visits to East Africa”
