Keynote Speaker Tamera Huntley

Tamara Huntley is a licensed social worker, public speaker, and disability advocate dedicated to empowering individuals with disabilities to advocate for themselves and define their own futures. Born with cerebral palsy, Tamara brings both lived experience and professional expertise to her work. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Social Work from Bridgewater State University and currently serves as the Self-Advocacy Liaison for the Massachusetts Developmental Disabilities Council. Tamara began her public speaking career with Massachusetts Advocates Standing Strong, training individuals with disabilities about abuse prevention through the Awareness in Action workshops. For more than 18 years, she has led trainings focused on self-advocacy, independence, and leadership. Tamara mentors young women with disabilities through the THRIVE program at Easter Seals and serves on several advisory and leadership boards.
