Where are these shows held at Seven Acre?

The shows are held at Seven Acre's outdoor performing and culinary arts venue, The Gathering Place.  The Gathering Place sits on the north end of Seven Acre, surrounded by old-growth oaks, restored prairie, and small farms.

Tell me more about The Gathering Place

Accepted Answer

The Gathering Place is on ancestral Ho-Chunk land, atop an ancient Driftless ridge. The unique landscape contours at The Gathering Place come from the 1950s, when the Paoli Creamery Plant excavated part of the hillside to create a pit where they could pump the factory’s whey after cheesemaking.

What about food and beverage?

Food and beverage will be for sale at The Gathering Place, including local beers, cocktails, N/A beverages. Food concessions will change seasonally, but will include prepared foods such as brats, burgers, and cheese curds plus other goodies like candy, popcorn, etc. No carry ins and no glass.

What is seating like at these shows?

Seating is general admission, made up of both a flat and sloped lawn, with areas for sitting and standing. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets, if they’d like to sit during the shows. Blankets should be no larger than 4ft x 4ft. A limited number of picnic tables are available.

What about parking?

Parking at the Venue (and in Paoli in general) is extremely limited. We encourage guests to use Uber, Lyft, or a local taxi company to come and go from the Venue.

What about kids?

The Gathering Place Summer Music Series is all ages! Kids 13 and over need a ticket. Kids 12 and under are free, with parent/guardian’s paid admission.

Tell us more about accessibility

Accepted Answer

The concert venue is accessed by walking approximately 1/4 mile on a landscaped path that includes uneven terrain. Please contact us well in advance of your event to discuss alternative access for those with limited mobility.

Are animals allowed?

Accepted Answer

No animals are permitted at the Gathering Place, except for service animals.
