About the instructor:

Jayde Barber is a yoga teacher with a background in mental health and peer support, particularly with homeless and underserved youth. Jayde has been practicing yoga since the age of eight, using mindful movement as a powerful tool to manage severe anxiety and panic. Her personal journey with yoga has deeply shaped their understanding of its potential to support emotional regulation and nervous system healing. Since completing her 200-hour yoga teacher training at the Tree Yoga Cooperative Jayde is passionate about sharing accessible, trauma-informed yoga with communities who have historically had less access to these practices. She is especially dedicated to creating inclusive spaces where individuals can explore how yoga supports mental wellness, builds self-awareness, and fosters resilience from the inside out.
