Memorial Day Murph Challenge - Monroeville, PA

Challenge yourself and honor a hero!

Join us for the Memorial Day Murph Challenge at the Gateway Sports Complex Track—an inspiring community event honoring the legacy of Lt. Michael P. Murphy, a U.S. Navy SEAL and Medal of Honor recipient who gave his life in service to our country.

The Murph Challenge is performed nationwide each Memorial Day in tribute to Lt. Murphy, offering participants a chance to test their strength and endurance while honoring his courage and sacrifice.

Participants will take on the classic “Murph” workout:

• 1-mile run
• 100 pull-ups
• 200 push-ups
• 300 air squats
• 1-mile run
• Wearing a 20 lb vest or body armor

Scaled and modified options are available to ensure all fitness levels can participate safely.

• Heats Begin: 7:00 AM
• Hosted by: Municipality of Monroeville, Monroeville Police Department, Gateway School District, and Monroeville Recreation & Parks

All proceeds from this event will benefit the Lt. Michael P. Murphy Memorial Scholarship Foundation, supporting educational opportunities in honor of Lt. Murphy’s legacy.
