COMEDY SITCOM CAMP (4th-8th grade)

Monday June 8th-Thursday June 11th 12:00-3:00 pm

Friday June 12th call time 3:00 pm, 4:00 pm show for family and friends!

In this fun and engaging Sitcom Acting Class, students will step into the world of television comedy as they learn how to read and understand a sitcom script, develop characters, and bring scenes to life. Throughout the week, students will practice acting techniques, comedic timing, and teamwork as they rehearse scenes from a real sitcom.

The class is led by Jessica Hardy Kado—actor, filmmaker, and graduate of The Second City Chicago Conservatory—who has performed improv in Chicago, appeared in film and commercial projects in Los Angeles, and trained in comedy at Lesly Kahn & Co.’s intensive program. She also brings years of experience producing nationally recognized film festivals, including the Chicago Comedy Film Festival and Los Angeles Comedy Film Festival.

By the end of the week, students will perform their scenes in a live showcase, giving them the exciting experience of being part of their own “TV show” performance.is fun and engaging Sitcom Acting Class, students will step into the world of television comedy as they learn how to read and understand a sitcom script, develop characters, and bring scenes to life.
