Can I bring my own flowers if I want to work with something specific?

Accepted Answer

Yes of course! If you are making lei for a specific event or occasion and want to work with a specific type of flower you are welcome to bring your own flowers. I offer a wide variety of flowers and foliage that can be used as filler to support what you bring.

Question 2

Can kids participate in the workshop?

Accepted Answer

Yes! But I want to give you some guidance before you buy a ticket for your child as I don't offer a reduced keiki rate. I have found that kids learning to make lei po'o for the first time require a lot of attention, plan on helping them while you make your own and you will be in good shape.

Question 3

Is it ok if I bring a bottle of wine to enjoy while lei making?

Accepted Answer

Yes BYOB is ok! If you would like to bring a bottle of wine or beer to share with your friend group thatʻs totally ok. In the past I used to set up a mini bar, but moving forward in 2025 I will no longer be offering drinks with the workshop.

Question 4

Can I bring my kids who will not be participating in the workshop?

Accepted Answer

It is ok to bring your child if they sit near you the whole time. For safety reasons I do not permit kids running around the farm or my house unsupervised. Just be mindful of other people's experience.
