Want to learn how to make your very own paper? Join Laura Post as she covers various methods in papermaking, including simple casting methods and how to make sheets you can then use in your practice. Roll up your sleeves, expand your practice, and come make some paper!

Laura Post earned an MFA from Rhode Island School of Design in Printmaking and a B.A. from Swarthmore College in Studio Art and Asian Studies. She is currently Assistant Professor of Printmaking at University of Dallas. Her work is rooted in the traditional craft of printmaking and papermaking, yet expands the definition of print. She focuses on familial relationships or those that shape the community around her. Through workshops and events, she collaborates with the Fort Worth Botanic Garden, the Fort Worth Public Library, and the community to remove and process invasive plants which are used to create large-scale pulp paintings and prints.

Post has exhibited her work nationally and internationally, including at Appalachian Center for Craft (2025), solo exhibitions at the University of Dallas (2025), the Arts Fort Worth (2021), Arts Place Indiana (2020), Swarthmore College’s List Gallery (2019), and CR Ettinger Studio (2019). Her work has also been featured in numerous group exhibitions including Wally Workman Gallery, Mid-America Print Council Juried Exhibition, Shanghai International Paper Art Biennale, Shanghai, China; Umbra: New Prints for a Dark Age selected by Alison Saar at International Print Center New York; twice selected for PaperWest: National Works on Paper Juried Exhibition at the University of Utah to name a few.
