1. What will my child be doing during the event?

Participants will take part in a hands-on STEAM experience where they will make their own ice cream while learning the science behind it. Youth will also participate in a short lesson on growing food and will plant a seedling to take home.

2. What age groups can attend?

This event is open to students in grades K–12. Activities are designed to be engaging and age-appropriate across this range.

3. Do parents need to stay during the event?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Parents or guardians must stay for children in grades K–5.
Parents of older youth (grades 6–12) are welcome to stay but are not required.

4. What should my child bring?

All materials will be provided. We recommend children:

Wear comfortable clothing

Be prepared for hands-on activities- (may get dirty)

Bring a positive attitude and readiness to learn

5. How do I register and are spots limited?

Spots are limited and available on a first come, first served basis.
Advance registration is required through Eventbrite to secure your child’s spot.

6. Will food allergies be accommodated?

Please notify us in advance of any food allergies. We will do our best to accommodate, but parents should use discretion based on their child’s specific needs.
