A pilgrimage is more than just traveling to a holy site; it is a deliberate journey of the heart. It is about leaving the noise of daily life behind to walk in the footsteps of those who came before us—in this case, at the sacred site of the 1565 Mass of Thanksgiving in St. Augustine to the National Shrine of Our Lady of La Leche with the National Eucharistic Congress St. Cabrini Eucharisitic Pilgrimage. The Power of the "Gathered Community"

We aren't just traveling to the same destination; we are traveling together. This journey is specifically designed for the Catholic Singles Community to foster organic connection, shared prayer, and true fellowship.

When we move as a group—sharing the same transportation, staying in the same hotel, and breaking bread at the same table—we create a "mobile parish." This environment allows for the kind of deep, faith-filled conversations that don't happen when you are traveling solo or joining a random crowd.

By registering, you aren't just booking a hotel room; you are claiming your place in a traveling Catholic Singles community dedicated to faith, history, and the 250th anniversary of Our Nation Under God!

To maintain the integrity of this experience and the safety of our group, this pilgrimage is offered exclusively as an all-inclusive Catholic Singles Penetcost Pilgrimage package

Traveling over Memorial Day weekend requires advanced logistical planning. Our price reflects the reality of peak-season demand in Jacksonville/St. Augustine area. We have bundled the high costs of holiday hotel rates, private transportation, fuel ($4.00/gal), and parking costs into one flat fee for this Pentecost Pilgraimge for Catholic Singles. This ensures that while others are navigating traffic and surging prices, our community is moving together in peace and prayer.

Comprehensive Disclosure & Health Requirement

Physical Requirements and Accessibility Disclosure By purchasing a registration for this Pilgrimage, the participant ("Pilgrim") acknowledges and agrees to the following physical requirements and jurisdictional limitations:

1. Physical Stamina and Health Representation This pilgrimage is a strenuous physical activity. By registering, the Pilgrim represents that they are in excellent health and possess the physical stamina required to complete the itinerary. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Walking Capacity: The ability to walk long distances (averaging 3 to 5 miles daily) independently.
  • Terrain Navigation: The ability to navigate ancient cobblestone walkways, uneven sidewalks, grassy areas, steep inclines, and stairs without assistance or mechanical aids.
  • Group Pace: The ability to maintain the walking pace of the group to ensure the safety and scheduled timing of the pilgrimage.

2. Non-Accessibility and Mobility Device Policy Due to the historic nature of the National Shrine and the city of St. Augustine, many sites were constructed centuries ago and do not meet modern ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) accessibility standards.

  • Vehicle Limitations: Transport vehicles and motorcoaches utilized for this event are not equipped with ramps, lifts, or specialized storage for mobility devices.
  • Prohibited Items: We are strictly unable to accommodate wheelchairs, walkers, or other motorized mobility aids on this pilgrimage.
  • Infrastructure: Participants will encounter significant architectural barriers, including narrow passages and uneven historic ground, that are inaccessible to those with restricted mobility.

3. Assumption of Risk and Independent Mobility The Pilgrim acknowledges that they must be fully self-sufficient. The pilgrimage staff and volunteers are not permitted to provide physical lifting, pushing, or constant individual assistance. It is strongly recommended that all participants consult with a physician prior to purchasing this Eventbrite package to ensure they can safely meet these rigors.

4. Acknowledgement Failure to meet these physical requirements during the event may result in the Pilgrim being unable to participate in certain portions of the itinerary. No refunds will be issued based on a participant's inability to navigate the disclosed terrain or physical demands.
