Park-9 Dog Derby Races

Join Park-9 and Spyglass Brewing as we crown the fastest pup in our very own "Dog Derby!"

Join us for Corgi & Dachshund races as the pups compete for the Park-9 Derby crown! Winners will receive prizes from Park-9 and Spyglass Brewing. $5 entry fee secures your dogs spot in one of six race heats, three for Corgi's and three for Dachshunds. All participating pups will receive an entry bandana and the winners of each race will receive a prize. Please arrive no later than 3:30 to check-in and receive race instructions and assigned heat time.

Sign up fees are non-refundable even if you are ultimately unable to attend the race. All participating dogs must be registered and adhere to all rules and regulations of Park-9.

Don't have a Corgi or a Dachshund, but still want to sign up your pup? Free open races will be held for small dogs under 25lbs. Signups held at the door the day of the event. Small dog races will start around 5:30pm.

And more fun all day ... Derby attire encouraged for dogs and humans alike! Prizes will be awarded to the dogs sporting the best derby hats. The Kentucky derby will be shown on the big screen at ~6:45pm!

All dogs and humans are invited to sip on a mint julep or a fresh Spyglass brew & cheer on the racers!
