Not at all. While we encourage you to read as much as you can, you’re welcome whether you’ve finished the book, just started, or are simply curious. Come as you are.

You can purchase Black Women Taught Us directly from Zora’s Place—either in-store or through our Bookshop.org storefront (link above). Your purchase helps support the shop and future community programming.

Will the author be joining live?

Yes! Jenn will be joining us live for a virtual conversation and Q&A. You’ll have the opportunity to hear directly from them and engage during the discussion.

Expect a thoughtful, welcoming space with guided discussion, reflection, and community connection—followed by a live conversation with the author and audience Q&A.
