Damario Solomon-Simmons is a nationally recognized civil rights attorney with nearly two decades of experience fighting for justice. A graduate of the University of Oklahoma, he made history as the first African American recipient of the prestigious Joel Jankowsky Award for most outstanding law graduate. He is the Managing Partner of Solomon-Simmons Law, co-founder and Executive Director of the Justice for Greenwood Foundation, and co-founder of the MVP Foundation. His work has been featured on CNN, The View, Good Morning America, ABC News, ESPN, The New York Times, and more.
In Redeem a Nation, Solomon-Simmons takes us inside his real-life legal battle to secure justice for the last living survivors of the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre—one of the most devastating acts of racial violence in U.S. history.
