Welcome to the Rooted in Wellness Health Summit!

Black Humboldt will be hosting the Rooted in Wellness Health and Wellness Summit May 16th 2026 | 10am - 4pm at The Sequoia Conference Center. The event will center the Black and Brown experience as it pertains to health and wellness in rural communities and the gaps in health and wellness access and cultural understanding that Black and Brown communities face. Workshops will be a mix of practice space, information sharing and skill share, training material and resource connection. This is wellness for us, by us.

The event will host multiple breakout sessions in the areas of physical wellness, communal wellness, financial wellness, and mental wellness. Specific presenters and schedule will be announced in early May. Morning refreshments and lunch will be provided.
