Latin Dance for Beginners (6-weekly classes, 16+ years old)

Join us for 6 weeks of Latin Dance Lessons from ever-popular dance Willimantic-based dance instructor, Oswaldo Tirano!

If your knowledge of Latin dance stops at the mambo sequence from ¨West Side Story,¨ this course will open your eyes (and ears) and get your body moving to the authentic rhythms of such popular Latin dances as Salsa & Bachata.

Each class will begin with warm ups designed to help increase body awareness. Then, participants will learn the basic steps & turns for Salsa, Bachata, and other traditional Latin rhythms!

💃🕺🏾 Dancing with a partner will also be introduced but no partner required.

👟 Proper (non-marking) athletic shoes must be worn.
