Dr. Mary Fariba Afsar will be joined by Walter Hartwig, Ph.D., who has worked in medical education for the last 30 years, in capacities ranging from professor to Associate Dean of Academic Affairs, Chair of Admissions and now Director of Student Success, all at Touro University California where he is a founding faculty member. He has authored books in his research area (The Primate Fossil Record), teaching discipline (Fundamental Anatomy), and administrative role (Medical School Rx), as well as scholarly publications in a wide variety of journals and subjects. His research in biological anthropology, paleontology and medical education has been funded by the National Geographic Society, numerous foundations, and the American Osteopathic Association.
