Overview

Gala

Join us for an unforgettable evening at the Moving Mountains for the Arts Gala, as we honor leaders who have made impactful contributions to the film industry, community development, and youth empowerment around the world.

Founded in 2007 by actor and director Jamie Hector, Moving Mountains has remained steadfast in its mission to provide a nurturing environment for inner-city youth—cultivating their talents in drama, dance, vocal performance, and filmmaking.

This special night supports our ongoing efforts to uplift and empower young people through arts education. Guests will enjoy a cocktail hour, a seated dinner, and a heartfelt celebration alongside leaders from entertainment, sports, finance, and philanthropy—all coming together to create opportunities for the next generation.

Your support makes a difference. 100% of the funds raised will go directly to programs that serve NYC youth, and all donations are fully tax-deductible.

Let’s come together to celebrate the transformative power of the arts, community, and hope. We promise—it’s going to be a night to remember.
