The KoMaGa Trio feat. Motoshi Kosako Michael Manring & Christopher Garcia
These three virtuoso instrumentalists team up to play unique original jazz/ethnic cross over music with full of improvisation.
Motoshi Kosako :Japanese born Concert harpist, composer, improvisor.
Motoshi started his musical training on piano and also guitar. He played acoustic and electric guitar in professional Jazz bands in Tokyo. Soon after he moved to California in 1997, he self-taught harp and played for Stockton Symphony Orchestra as the principal harpist from 2006-2010. In 2007 he won the second place in Lyon & Healy International Jazz & Pop Harp Competition. His groundbreaking style is noted in Harp Column as “Motoshi Kosako, whose introspective soloing was reminiscent of Keith Jarrett.” He performs improvisation and original compositions as solo or in ensembles with top jazz musicians including Grammy award winning reeds player, Paul McCandless, innovative electric fret-less bassist, Michael Manring. He released 2 classical solo CDs and 15 jazz albums. He regularly tour Internationally to give concert, lectures and workshops.

Where is parking located?
Parking is located under the building, accessible from west of the building off of 1st St. between Bunker Hill Towers and the mini-shopping center AU LAC is in.
Once you’ve turned into the large driveway, turn left into the garage “Guest Parking and Residence Parking of The Promendade”. $12 CASH ONLY.
Additional parking is located directly across Hope St. at Disney Hall - 111 South Grand Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90012. $10.
There is limited street parking in front of Au Lac, Disney Hall and The Music Center.
