Godmothers Grow: Food Therapy in Practice, With Luis Mojica
What if your relationship with food could become a pathway to greater calm, clarity, and self-understanding?
In this interactive workshop, somatic educator and life coach Luis Mojica invites participants to explore the principles of “Food Therapy” through experiential practices designed to deepen awareness of the body’s signals. Building on themes from his book, Luis will guide the group through a series of somatic exercises that illuminate how stress, trauma, and nervous system states influence the way we eat.
Participants will engage in partner reflections, guided practices for cultivating safety in the body, and a somatic exploration of cravings and food choices. Along the way, Luis will share insights into how nutrition interacts with emotional states—helping participants understand how everyday eating habits can either support or strain the body’s capacity to regulate.
Rather than offering rigid rules or diet prescriptions, this workshop emphasizes curiosity, self-attunement, and practical tools for approaching food as a supportive ally in the healing process.
This event will be hosted in our third-floor loft space, which is only accessible by stairs.
