Raising Community: An Honest Parenting Conversation

Overview

Join us for a real conversation about school culture, belonging, community, and what it means to be involved--not just enrolled!

Raising Community: An Honest Parent Conversation

Some of the most important conversations about raising kids never happen in a formal setting. They happen in parking lots, group chats, and hallways — in the margins of school life.
This pop-up is making space for them on purpose.
Join Ralinda Watts for an intimate Sunday morning conversation about what it really means to be involved — not just enrolled. We’ll explore school culture, authentic connection, and what it takes to build genuine belonging for your family in communities that weren’t always designed with every family in mind.

What to expect:
— A facilitated conversation, not a lecture
— Honest talk about school culture, identity, and belonging
— A small, intentional space for parents and caregivers
— Something real to take home: a resource and a next step

Join us at The Neighborhood School for a morning conversation for parents and caregivers about school community, parent culture, and more, featuring real talk, reflection, and practical tools to build community as you navigate identity, school choice, and parenting.

This is an opportunity to connect, build community, and have a little fun along the way. Led by Ralinda Watts, speaker, author, and trusted voice on identity-affirming parenting with a belonging-centered approach.

This conversation is one stop in the Raising Community Pop-Up Series — traveling to neighborhoods across Los Angeles through June 2026. Follow the series, bring a friend--let's be in conversation!
