How do matches work?

At the event, you’ll log into your njdates Matchboard to guide you through the event. 
You'll select who you'd like to connect with, and we’ll email your mutual matches in one hour after the event.
No awkward exchanges. No pressure. Just simple, streamlined matching.

Question 2

What is the gender ratio?

We aim for a balanced room so everyone gets the best experience. Each event requires a minimum of 10 guests per gender to run, and we do our best to keep the ratio within 3 extra of any one gender. Most events feel evenly matched.
Our max capacity is 40 guests.

Question 3

How many dates will I have?

Each event varies depending on group size, but you can usually expect to meet between 9 and 12 people in one night.

Is the Matchboard easy to use?

Super easy.
It takes less than a minute to create your profile, and everything works right from your phone—no app store download needed.
You’ll simply log in, choose your matches, and we’ll handle the rest.

What's your refund policy?

You can cancel for a full refund up to 72 hours (3 days) before the event.
Need to cancel closer to the date? No problem—you'll receive a credit for a future njdates event.

Will my personal info be shared?

Nope!
Nobody will be asking for your phone number, socials, or anything personal during the event.
All communication happens privately through the email after a mutual match is made.

Can I come alone?

Yes, absolutely! Most people come solo.
It’s completely normal to feel a little nervous at first, but the vibe is warm, welcoming, and designed to make you feel comfortable right away. Trust us—you’ll settle in quickly.

How long will the dates be?
